Vizualization: a key to innovative teaching and learning

A growing  interest in the use of visuals in education has led to a redefinition of visual literacy as the ability to read, understand and memorize information presented in pictorial or graphic images.

The seminars will deal with vizualization as a means of improving students’ development of knowledge.

They will progress through concrete examples transferable to the teaching of a foreign language as well as of Italian. The focus will be on reading (general/literary texts), writing (paragraph writing), grammar teaching and on how to outline CLIL segments.

The examples will cover content and strategies at both pre-intermediate level (for scuola media students) and intermediate/advanced level (for secondary high school students).
